CABINET Installer

Job description

Compensation: $22-$28 hourly DOE

Employment Type: Full Time

Finish Point Trim and Millwork is looking for skilled cabinet installers who want to join a team that respects your work! We provide custom carpentry services to Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas and are proud to be included in Knoxville's Top Workplaces for 2024. Our ideal candidate has 5 or more years of practical field experience installing custom residential millwork and cabinetry and meets or exceeds the following:

Responsibilities:

• Build custom cabinets in a shop environment

• Use machinery and power tools to produce high end custom cabinets and related wood products

• Work with a positive, fast-paced team to achieve a high level of quality work

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read detailed shop drawings

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Good working knowledge of cabinet construction and installation

• Ability to self manage and produce work in a timely fashion

• Ability to follow detailed verbal instructions, keep work station organized and contribute to maintaining a clean shop

• Strong mathematical and problem solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with other team members as needed to accomplish the work

• Ability to personally forecast work goals for scheduling and capacity evaluations

Qualifications:

• Experience with high end production is preferred (production speed and high quality)

• Passion for woodworking

• Ability to pass a drug test and background check

• Possess a great attitude, people skills and work ethic

• Valid driver's license

• Dependable transportation

• Able to show examples of your work

• Provide at least 3 professional references

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing on concrete floor, climbing, bending, kneeling, and moving materials.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

• Must have full range of motion and be able to lift tools above shoulder height

• Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination

• Spacial awareness to work around finished products without causing damage
