Compensation: $20-$27 hourly DOE

Employment Type: Full Time

Finish Point Trim and Millwork is looking for a skilled Millworker who wants to join a team that respects your work! Roles and Responsibilities:

• Layout complex rooms with paneling, beams, coffers, columns, etc.

• Build complex casework

• Build basic millwork pieces including mantles, columns, beams, furniture elements, hoods, etc.

• Layout/install any type of door, window and decorative mouldings

• Fabricate custom doors

• Understands and adheres to company quality standards and best practices

• Takes ownership for all details

• Interpret drawings

• Fabricate cabinet doors

• Fabricate straight and radius moldings

• Layout mortises, install and operate hardware

• Perform advanced set ups (profile head set up, jigs, and fixtures)

• Keeping projects tidy, clean as you go and reset shop after work is complete

• Collaboration with drafters to push more automated work for faster results

Qualifications:

• Experience with high end production is preferred (production speed and high quality)

• Advanced & diverse knowledge of hardware

• Wood bending experience is a bonus

• Time Management skills

• Concise and professional communication style

• Knowledge of lumber species, various sheet goods and adhesives

• Passion for woodworking

• Possess a great attitude, people skills and work ethic

Requirements:

• Able to show examples of your work

• Ability to pass a drug test and background check

• Provide at least 3 professional references

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing on concrete floor, climbing, bending, kneeling, and moving materials.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

• Must have full range of motion and be able to lift tools above shoulder height

• Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination

• Spacial awareness to work around finished products (without causing damage)
